How it helps

How this service can help

Being understood

We build clearer, more confident communication using approaches matched to each person's strengths.

Access to communication

Where speech is not the primary method, we explore AAC and other tools so a person always has a way to be heard.

Everyday practice

We coach the people around a person so communication support continues between sessions.

What to expect

Getting started, step by step

  1. 1. Getting to know you

A conversation about communication in everyday settings and the goals that matter most.

  2. 2. Assessment

An assessment appropriate to age and need, including observation and information from family, school or carers.

  3. 3. Goals and plan

Clear, meaningful communication goals with an agreed plan for how support will be delivered.

  4. 4. Ongoing support and review

Sessions, home and school strategies, and regular review of progress and direction.
