Introduction

About School Readiness

Starting school is a big step. School readiness support focuses on the foundations that help a child participate from day one — communication, social skills, attention, following instructions, fine motor skills for the classroom, emotional regulation and everyday independence — so that classroom participation feels familiar rather than overwhelming.

Who we support

  • Children preparing to start school
  • Children with developmental delay or speech delay approaching school age
  • Families wanting a smoother transition into the classroom
  • Children who benefit from practising group routines

Sessions & duration

School readiness sessions typically run for approximately 45–60 minutes, individually or in small groups. Program length may vary depending on each child's needs.
